The Ministry for Pacific Peoples, through the Toloa programme, is proud to support Dressed in Confidence and initiatives that encourage self-discovery and confidence-building for Pacific people of all ages. The Ministry proudly supports Dressed In Confidence to deliver workshops in capacity building for the Pacific Fusion Fashion Show, which this year aims to explore the creative realms of designers and their cultural ideologies. These workshops align to the Ministry’s STEAM objectives of supporting Pacific people to gain work experience and/or hands-on skills in the arts industry.
The Ministry’s Toloa programme supports Pacific people in STEAM pathways (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) over a whole of life approach – ECE, Primary, Intermediate, Secondary, Tertiary through to the Workforce. Toloa’s Vision is to make a transformational impact in the communities we live in.
